Projects

Your workspace for building PRDs.

A project is the core workspace in AgentPRD. Each project contains a PRD — one project, one deliverable. Projects bring together your linked insights and the generated PRD document in a single place.

Creating a project

From your workspace dashboard, click New project. Give it a name and an optional description. Keep projects focused — one project per product area or feature.

The PRD

Every project contains a rich text editor with markdown support. You can write your PRD directly or generate one from linked insights. The PRD is the single deliverable — structured for both human review and coding agents.

Generating a PRD

  1. Link insights from your organization's insights page to the project.
  2. Click Generate PRD.
  3. AgentPRD creates a PRD where every requirement traces back to a real customer.

The generated PRD includes: Overview, Problem statement, Goals, User stories, Requirements (P0/P1/P2 priority), Non-goals, and Open questions.

Editing

Use the full rich text editor to refine your PRD. Switch between visual and markdown mode, copy to clipboard, or download as .md.

Status

  • Draft — work in progress. Edit, link more insights, regenerate as needed.
  • Ready — finalized. Share with your team or hand off to a coding agent.

Sharing

Generate a public share link, copy the PRD, download markdown, or get a raw markdown URL that coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) can consume directly. See Sharing for details.

Tips

  • One project per feature — a "Recurring invoices" project should not also cover "Time tracking approvals."
  • Link 5+ insights — more insights produce richer PRDs.
  • Review before sharing — always edit the generated PRD before distributing it.
